ABOUT ME |
Diane
Moreno has been a public school music teacher for nearly
thirty
years. She recently retired from her educational career and
has pursued her other passion, that of assisting women
during
the birth process. Diane has two grown daughters and their
births were the most positive and empowering experiences
of
her life. Years later she had the honor of helping a few
friends and relatives also go through the birth process.
It was during
those experiences that her interest and passion grew for
the sacredness of the event and she discovered that this
was her
calling upon reaching retirement.
Among a number of other
births, she had the great opportunity of
being
a doula for her own daughter as well as a witness to the
birth of her first granddaughter. Diane has a bachelor’s
degree in music education and a master’s degree
in educational leadership. Additionally, Diane pursued
doula training and
certification through DONA. It is her sincerest wish and
desire to assist women, in a spirit of humble service,
to experience
the miracle of birth at its fullest potential. |
